International Experience Canada
The International Experience Canada (IEC) program is a bilateral initiative that allows young adults aged 18 to 35 from over 30 countries to live and work in Canada temporarily. Administered by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the program consists of three categories:

Working Holiday
This category enables participants to obtain an open work permit, allowing them to work for any employer in Canada and travel freely throughout the country. The Working Holiday category aims to promote cultural exchange by allowing participants to experience Canadian life while engaging in short-term employment.
Young Professionals
The Young Professionals category provides participants with the opportunity to gain professional work experience in Canada through internships or employment contracts with Canadian employers. Participants must have a job offer related to their field of study or career goals to qualify for this category. The Young Professionals category aims to facilitate the transfer of skills and knowledge between Canada and participating countries.

International Co-op (Internship)
This category is designed for students who are enrolled in a post-secondary institution in their home country and wish to complete a work placement or internship in Canada as part of their studies. Participants must have a job offer or internship placement from a Canadian employer to qualify for this category. The International Co-op category aims to provide students with hands-on work experience in their field of study while promoting international collaboration and learning.
